PTFE Assortments

Wherever a packaging line applies heat — sealing jaws, shrink tunnels, band sealers, drying screens — a PTFE surface keeps hot film and adhesive from sticking and lasts through thousands of cycles. Fortis Industrial supplies a complete PTFE assortment to Malaysian packaging, converting and screen-printing plants. PTFE Belt is a conveyor belt of glass fabric coated or impregnated with polytetrafluoroethylene for shrink wrapping and heat band sealing: smooth, low-friction, high-strength and abrasion-resistant. PTFE Cloth is the woven glass cloth base used on drying screens, adhesive interlining belts and heat sealers.

PTFE Cloth Tape is offered with and without a release liner: a sodium-etched PTFE cloth coated with silicone adhesive that is weather, fire and UV resistant and stable from −70 °C to 260 °C, for heat sealing, roller wrapping, anti-friction surfaces and heat-resistant masking or electrical insulation. PTFE Film Tape uses an extruded PTFE film backing with silicone adhesive for wrapping silicone rubber rollers and heat-seal bars.
