Recyl Cylinder Cleaning

Anilox cell volume drifts as dried ink builds up in the cells, and the press operator compensates with more ink, more pressure and more waste. Recyl’s cylinder cleaning products restore the engraved volume by hand, without abrasive media or high-pressure equipment. Fortis Industrial stocks the four products Malaysian flexo and gravure printers need. Recyl Cobra is the deep-cleaning gel for ceramic anilox rolls only — the original 1989 product — applied with gloves, massaged in and brushed off with a stainless steel brush, with a neutralising powder for the rinse water.

Recyl Clean 2000 and Recyl Clean Plus are brown viscous liquids for weekly maintenance of both ceramic and chrome rolls; Clean Plus is the more concentrated version. Apply, leave to work for a few minutes up to 24 hours, brush with a brass brush and rinse. Recyl Magic’Lox is a 400 ml spray for ceramic and chrome anilox, plates, parts and machine frames that needs no rinsing and leaves a protective film.
