Recyl

Recyl Graphics of Ville-la-Grand, France, has specialised in anilox and pressroom cleaning chemistry since 1989, when founder Pierre Chevreux launched Cobra, the first unclogging gel for ceramic anilox rolls. Fortis Industrial is Recyl’s sole distributor in Malaysia and stocks the full programme for flexo, offset and gravure printers. The range is organised by job. For cylinders: Cobra for deep cleaning of blocked ceramic anilox, Clean 2000 and the more concentrated Clean Plus for weekly maintenance of ceramic and chrome rolls, and Magic’Lox spray for a fast clean at any time.

For parts and plates: the Quick’Wash family matched to the ink system — Quick’Wash UV, Quick’Wash Solvant, Quick’Wash Solvant PU, Quick’Wash Flex and Quick’Wash Premium — plus PK Water Plus for parts-washing machines and Clean Waterless for waterless offset inks. Brass, stainless steel and synthetic brushes complete the kit. Recyl products are ready to use, carry a 12–24 month shelf life and are certified compatible with the EuPIA food-packaging guide. Each product page links to the Recyl technical data sheet; safety data sheets are available on request.

Frequently asked questions

Which Recyl product should I use for a badly blocked ceramic anilox roll?

Recyl Cobra. It is a deep-cleaning gel for ceramic anilox rolls only: apply with gloves, work it in every five minutes, brush with a Recyl stainless steel brush and rinse. Use the neutralising powder on the rinse water. For chrome rolls or routine weekly cleaning use Clean 2000 or Clean Plus instead — never Cobra.

Are Recyl cleaners safe for food-packaging printers?

Yes. Recyl’s cleaning products are certified compatible by the EuPIA (European Printing Ink Association) guide for food-sector printing. Always read the label and the safety data sheet, which Fortis Industrial can supply on request.

How do I pick the right Quick’Wash?

Match it to the ink: Quick’Wash UV for UV inks and varnishes, Quick’Wash Solvant for solvent-based inks, Quick’Wash Solvant PU where polyurethane-based inks are used, Quick’Wash Flex for UV or water-based inks across parts, plates and the inking group, and Quick’Wash Premium for general parts and plate maintenance.
