Process Tape For Paper Production

Paper machines and coaters need tapes that survive the wet end and the dryer, then vanish in the pulper. This category groups the tesa® single-sided repulpable process tapes Fortis Industrial supplies to Malaysian paper and board mills. tesa® 4441 is a slightly creped paper tape with a modified water-soluble acrylic adhesive; the creped backing stretches to follow reel contours and is used for tail tying, reel closing and general repairs. tesa® 4445 is a flat-back paper splicing tape without liner for permanent splices in the paper web, engineered so the joint passes through calenders and coaters without lifting.

tesa® 51446 is the flat-back repulpable tape for closing reels and marking without contaminating recycled fibre. All three carry no liner, so there is nothing to dispose of on the machine floor.
