Recyl’s cleaning chemistry does the dissolving; the brush does the lifting. Using the wrong bristle on an anilox roll either scratches the surface or fails to reach the bottom of the cells, so Recyl specifies a brush for each surface and Fortis Industrial stocks all three in Malaysia. The Recyl Brass Brush is reserved exclusively for chrome anilox rolls in flexo and gravure — brass is softer than chrome, so it clears dried ink from the cells without marking the plating, and it suits all ink types when used with Clean 2000 or Clean Plus.

The Recyl Stainless Steel Brush is reserved exclusively for ceramic anilox rolls, where its harder bristles work Cobra gel into blocked cells and lift out the loosened ink. The Recyl Synthetic Square Brush is for photopolymer plates and parts; its soft synthetic bristles are compatible with every cleaner in the Quick’Wash range and will not damage plate relief.
