Application fields

tesa® 54242 is suitable to fix the top layer of a film reel during the flying splice process in the film producing, printing and converting industry.

It provides a secure fixation of the web during acceleration of the reels and reliable breaking on contact due to a perforation at the breaking zone.

The perforation is printed black for easy positioning.
